I figured that 1100 would be a good number to stop at or aim for rather as the tuning will not be happening for another 2 weeks.

Will I go higher in the future? lol, probably.

I like to baby new cars and keep them as new as possible, but when it comes to used cars, I don't care as much lol. I got the S2000 used and that was my beater for 3 years. I might need to find a new beater if I want to keep the Evo pristine. But the more I drive it, the less I care about keeping it mint lol.

Even though I don't drive the Evo that much, I still enjoy the car, and the best part is that when I do drive it, it feels like a new car since I hardly drive it. Everyone enjoys their cars differently, and I'm happy with the way I enjoy mine, and that is what's most important.

lets see some pics all you low mileage EVO's lets see some pics

My friend complains the entire time about how bumpy and bouncy the ride is in my car. I have a COMPLETELY STOCK 06' MR. I'm like asking him, are you serious? I never really felt like my car was that bouncy or rode crappy. All the shocks are good, I just had them checked. It rides fine. It rides better than fine, it's a freakin EVO and it handles like it's on rails. But, he complains of it being too rough, too stiff, too loud, etc. He even goes as far as to say that our friends Z06 rides better which I highly doubt. But damn him, now he's got me questioning how awesome my car is. Have any of you guys had similar experiences?
your friend is obviously a hater! find new friends

I have put about 16k miles on it in the 3 1/2 years I have had it.

I really like the way you have your boost gauge mounted! It looks so damn clean with the dash.

Thanks.

I have an idea for a hidden yet accessible wideband gage as well when I get that. Got the idea for the boost gage here though (wish I could claim that one )

I like to keep things looking pretty stock at a glance.

30 psi is more than I ever plan on seeing

After a tune I doubt my peak goes above the 25-27 range. I am only looking for 300-350 whp after I am done.

Outside the car will have nothing more than the VG, a front lip, and maybe a rear diffuser.

Mine is a 2005,has 64k and it might sit on jackstands for the next year getting a rebuild. That, at least, is why mine is staying low mileage

My IX (purchased new in 06) has ~17K on it, 90% fun miles. I have no real commute, everywhere I need to go is very close, and this isn't my only car. I bought the SE to keep and plan on enjoying my Evolution 'till I die.

im the original owner of my 2005 EB evo 8, and im currently at 44,XXX miles. more then likely i'll hit 45 thou by next month or less, car gets driven only on the weekends and thats if i dont take the other play car out or i just say the hell with it and drive the beater around.

reason i dont drive her as much as i used to, is because i like keeping the mileage down on her due to value, and i have alot invested in her exterior, motor, and interiorwise and id hate to see something happen. the only reason i think something will happen is i did have her keyed a few months back and i was steaming. to each is own though, if you wanna drive the crap out of her or you just want to have her safe in the garage and drive just on the weekends or every so often then do so. Just do what makes you happy.

im gonna continue garaging mine, keeping the miles low, and just taking her out on the weekends.

I bought my Evo X last month in May brand new. Im using the Evo X as my daily driver right now. But I am thinking about the winter time when it snows. I dont need salt from a plow truck damaging my paint. I do have another vehicle that needs alot of TLC to get back in running shape. Im gonna sell it and hopefully get some more cash together, so I can get a beater vehicle for the winter time. Im not afraid to put miles on the Evo.....just dont need the winter time damaging my paint.
