Ooops my bad.

I'm curious to know what oil pump he's running. Surely he has to have ditched the oem pump for a dry sump kit.

So the stock oil pump can handle this kind of rpm? with just a oem balance shaft delete kit.

IF you are so freaking bad *** at building EVO motors why don't show up at the next DSM Shootout and show us what you got.

Short Answer: You won't, because you know you will lose.

Nobody cares about your FIA pedigree here bubba.
this dudes in GREECE. I doubt they would waste a bunch of money flying/shipping cars across the world to settle a small time forum dispute .

umm, news flash , ''America'' is broke too...looks like they have a few 9/8 second cars in their stable. Don't waste your 'war money' driving over there to get embarrassed.

Id honestly like to see Buschur get his hands on these expensive ET parts to do some real world testing on his heartbreaker or the 1/4 mile, some open minded,no bias testing would be nice.

Older EVO guy perspective.

Ive been in the commercial heavy duty industry for over 20 years (Class 8 Semi Trucks & Trailers). Europe is & has been way ahead of the USA in regards to technology. Europe was on ABS / Roll Stability / Disc brakes / Electronic braking systems10 years before we started in the late 90's (We are way behind even today)

Bottom line is this, IMO. The European countries move at a quicker pace than our very large single economy. Its always been this way

Look at the stock market. When Europe flinches (Greece & now Italy), The U.S. shakes. We are the tail guys. Europe is the head

I'm sure you've seen that guys thread, First U.S ET build. Waste of money IMO & doubt that it will even happen

I would keep it simple & get a proven 2.3 build from this threads OP & call it a day

Peace, Joe

P.S. One day we will be at the level some Euro tuners have acheived

What do u have David Bushur to tell about this? Do u have 3250lbs car to show us the speed that passes quart mile? Have u see the other Subaru with 850awhp from extreme tuners again that had 8.8sec with 32psi boost 1year back? Do u know that they lower the boost to 31psi to have a clear run and more than 35psi spins all the greek dragstrip? And the engine is capable of 50psi with 156lbs/min turbo? What u think about this was just a dyno plot now? Give us ur dragstrip for one week and u will see. Also the 11.500rpms that black evo from ET works 1 year now and not just one pass by accident to an only pass to drag with stock parts. 2005-2006 they built 12500rpms engines, please respect.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lGyi37Yn2RU

Do u have the knowledge to sell ready setups for 11-12000rpms and not afraid any failures? Not just one pass? Sure not. That called technology knowledge and expensive parts. That's the diference that u built one motor with stock crank and oil pump etc and u make one pass only with 10800rpms and ET sells ready race engines for this use. Do u have an engine to show to ET with 14psi produce 870hp? Do u know what happened when boost this highly technology engines? At 30psi will produce 1300hp and 1750hp to 44psi? Are u still in place to imagine the size of this tuning?

The difference is that u use parts and they invent them, they create technology and dam they don't need any like u to shake their hands.

U haven't wonder why they don't have online website or web store, they don't need to sell parts for living, they make them for their improvement and their own records, that's the difference, their connections are too high and is another level of just 1/4mile passes. Do u know as u write about them they probably eat with a FIA high grade guy and laugh and sitting to a 2milion cnc machines? Please respect.

Soon they will release a 13000rpm engine as I know they test them, and a 2000hp 4g63 engine setup. Give respect u will probably be better when u just steal something from them.
I'm surprised no one commented on this

its funny.. see how technology is these days. evo using 42r n 45r to make insane power n crazy numbers at the track to now little framed turbos doing the same thing if not better then those turbos! just want to say big thanks to all the guys out there, that are putting there heart to this. and makeing all these parts for our evo. (bushur, ams, stm, awd.n so on) dave maken a great point here.. n people will either see it or they wont. usualy the guys that are just coming into the evo game are the one that think they no it all or just by simply seeing sumthing, that be done along time ago gets them going. i can remember on here back in 05-06 when this evo community was like a family now its just crazy! why i barly even post or talk on this forum any more. just felt like i had to put a little 2 cent in this. evo came along ways these days... i could go on and on. but its pointless. i get your point Dave. everything uve done. is amazing and all your facts r on point! dont let the dumbies get to you. you know ur work is TOP quailty WORK and everything you done and help with the EVO DSM community has been GREATLY appreciated.

Basically, ET builds the most optimized 4g63 engine setups on the planet but can't figure out how to setup the car to get traction

I'm sure poor track prep plays a role in their awful timeslips but if you can afford a $45,000? Ti crank you can afford to prep a track for a day.....or build your own track.

The other more important fact is 99% of the people building a car don't need to get anywhere near 10,000 rpm. The engine is NOT making power there, so running it to 10,000 rpm is pointless. You are past peak power and now in an area that when you do shift you are going to miss peak torque too, making the car even slower.

The dyno graphs posted of these crazy numbers on here with these claims of 11,000+ rpm..............open your eyes. Not one of the graphs go past 8800 rpm that I saw and on top of that BEFORE they even got to 8800 rpm the power was already falling off. Some of them are falling at 6,000 rpm.

I am trying to open eyes here. When I see dyno graphs like these I say, "Just look at it, would you look at that."
Maybe I missed something but I don't see almost any power drop with Spyros stage 2 or stage 3 cams in these two threads:

Confused, why rev a motor way past its peak power? Any motor can be held to 11,000 RPM. The piston speed with the stroke of this motor is only going to shorten the life of this motor. Study the graph, peak power was way before 11,000 RPM.

America might not be doing to well but a few years back I do remember Greese getting alot of money from the EU. Any one comming to bail out america? And it is going to happen again. Hope fully everyone wont give all there money they dont have to just watch it bite them in the a$$ again.

I think I just wasted precious time in my life reading this... Lol
Funny thing is someone posted that YouTube of ET's car on my FB a few days ago.
This arguing is pointless... I'm glad I've chosen to rally cross this evo I just got, and not drive it in a straight line.... *Sigh*

#1 question I've been asked since purchase
"what's your 1/4 mile time" >_<

This thread is fail. No worse than a v8 guys asking why you dump money into a rice burner. I dont remember anyone giving DB **** for thinking outside the box back in the day. Just do what you do and stop caring about other people. Pissing matches and nut swingers never solve anything. If you cant take a personal attack with your history your in the wrong buisness.

Mike @ AWD youre awesome lol

Sorry for going off topic here David... Just stating a quick fact.
Has anyone here ever been to Greece? Other then their islands, the place is a DUMP! and as far as someone saying "America is broke"... Were nowhere near where they are... Their citizens stopped paying taxes for a while now... Imagine we ALL didn't pay ANY taxes... Now that's a broke country
