I would take the money but damn that sucks man. I hope your insurance doesn't sky rocket to bad, are they considering it your fault? any tickets? When I lost control of one of my previously owned cars I got charged with reckless driving (it was eventually dropped from my record but I still had to pay for it? yeah idk haha)

 

Insurance budged a few dollars/month.

My fault.

0 tickets on my record, first ever accident.

I am lucky I didn't get any tickets, even though cop was trying for a DUI. Not a ticket was issued.

 

Sorry for your loss man, I just said goodbye to mine a week ago too. Now I'm rocking a 98 Camry :-( . Oh well at least it was free

 

im sorry to hear about your loss of your evo 8 MR, i considered those the rare MRs considering they weren't mass produced like the 9 MR.

sorry for the loss man... I spun out on the freeway once... from the far right side and hit the center divider on the far left. I was really lucky and had literally no body damage besides some scratches on my rear bumper. The way the divider was shaped in CA, my wheels took all the hit and bent some arms... so I was really lucky!

 

Had a similar situation to the OP where I had to quickly swerve back into my lane during a change and the car ended up spinning out on the freeway.... I was kinda surprised I lost it & the evo didn't hang on
