battery relocation kit?? suggestions?
Fwiw, Ive taken the tape off the oem ground and found the connection to the terminal was really crappy. I didn't even reuse that when I relocated mine. Im running 0 gauge power from the engine bay to the trunk, and 2 gauge ground going from the battery to a ground right near the rear seat. Im using a Miata size battery, 320cca iirc. have aftermarket cams and springs ( if that really matters), and car starts up within 2 cranks usually.
I wouldn't really buy a 'kit'. this is a fairly straightforward project with the only tough part about it is where you want your battery and what battery you want to use. Cables, I recommend 0 gauge. A high quality 0 guage cable will be more flexible and weigh about the same as a cheap 2 gauge, from experience of having 2 gauge at first.

The reason I bought a kit is the last one I made wasn't the best and the kits aren't much more or a clean look and an enclosed battery. So my second evo had a kit and it was better imo. I used 0 gauge as well if I can recall.
