What is everybody talking about? I'm in the market for an used 2003 EVO and all I can tell you is that the cars value has held up very well, much better than expected, which is a reason it has taken me longer to purchase an EVO. This statement seems to be accurate especially since the EVO just recieved an award for holding it's value. Right now 2003 models are selling for $25,000 to $28,000 in Southern California, around the rest of the country I have seen them (2003 models) selling for as low as $23,000 to $28,000. So I suspect that when the 2005 models are released these prices will drop, which I am hoping for. I am thinking the prices of 2003 EVO will drop to around $20,000 (lowest) to $26,000 (highest). I believe that you could sell your car for somewhere between $20,000 and $26,000. Your car looks to be in great condition and somewhere between $24,000 and $26,000 it will surely sell. Hope your still not upside down, but I hope people learn to never pay the dealer premium on a car, it totally f*cks you in the re-sale department. I mean you buy a $30K car for $38K, it still gonna be worth $30K.
"Other things that can hurt resale value are garish colors, custom modifications and lack of popular options. Don't try to save money on your new car by not getting things like power windows and door locks, cruise control or an adjustable steering wheel."
people with an RS may have trouble trying to resell their car, especially if they've modified it...

The main reason I wanted to know the value is because of a Freeeekin Phenomenal deal I was going to get on a '99 Carrera. I have decided to keep the EVO so really it has become a non-issue. BUT, feel free to continue the discussion if it suits ya!
2005 EVO owners, CHECK THIS OUT !!
