Boost Gauge reads 5psi, car feels normal
I went out cruising with some buddies today. Drove through some of the local mountain roads. I did a few 2nd gear pulls but nothing too serious. As I get back into my area on the drive home, I notice my boost gauge slowly building up and maxing at 5psi when it would normally jump to 15ish without much lag. I'm not 100% sure as to when it started doing this, as the car feels almost completely normal. The only thing out of the ordinary is the bov sounds a bit different at lower boost levels(1/4 throttle). When I got on my road I did a 2nd gear pull to see if there was a noticeable power difference, I honestly didn't feel a loss in power. I'm guessing this means there is a fault in the gauge wiring or a boost leak. I just wanted a second opinion. I will be taking it to the shop that does all of the work on my car this week to get it checked out if I can't solve it myself.
Thanks for your time!

Check where the boost gauge is T'd in, I did mine off the fpr and the rubber boot/sleeve/pos rubber piece auto meter supplies with their gauges split. Needless to say with a boost leak on the fpr my evo wasn't boosting correctly either.
If there is a split in the ends, just cut it and attach the new end back on the nipple.
Zip tie ever vacuum line for added security. My vacuum line would always fall out until I decided to not be lazy and zip tie it.

Just for future searches, I just picked up another rubber connector from autozone to replace the one in the picture. Ran a leak test after installing the new connector and every is back to normal. Gauges are reading accurately.
newsotaboy89 and Thore were right on the money. Trace the line from your boost gauge to find where your gauge is T'd in if you don't already know.
Thanks again for the help!
