Exclamation Lots of smoke! Oil burning!

Well now that I fixed the car it has a new bottom end after crank walk issue.

So I know the rings arent seated but there is A LOT of oil burning and smoke going on. It smokes when in throttle but mostly when under decelleration also back fires and puffs a cloud of smoke. It is also smoking constantly from the breather on the valve cover, which I just put a little mini filter over it as I have a buschur intake. I am noticing a lot of lifter ticking as well. Is there a way to bleed the lifters without taking it all apart again?

I did notice some shaft play in the turbo when I put it all back together after the fresh bottom end.

Im literally creating a smoke screen wherever I drive and I know it is a nuissance and annoying to other drivers, so I stick to the boonies and back country roads.

Any help would be awesome! I know there is a lot of different thoughts but as I remembered things I wrote them in.

Thanks guys!

Im a mechanic for Nissan so Im not paying someone for work I can do. Im pulling the valve cover tomorrow to check the valve seals and bleed the lifters and go from there. Im just looking for someone that may have had a similiar problem that may have suggestions on where to start.

Sounds like the turbo seals are gone. Causing oil to leak into the exhaust happened to my 3000GT like a thousand times. Keep an eye on your oil level for sure.

I've been told that after a fresh bottom end rebuild that it will smoke until the rings seat in good.

They told me it could smoke for 10 miles or 100 miles.

Well I removed the valve cover, and Im seeing most if not all of the valve seals are near the tops of the valves. So I went to AMS today and picked up some zero tick lifters, and some valve seals. Tomorrow it all comes apart. Will put an update up when its done and running to see if this is indeed the problem

Well I did all the valve seals and installed gsc zero tick lifters, sadly the thing still smokes like crazy. From what a lot of you are saying it sounds like the turbo seals could be blown... So who has a bolt up and go turbo for me? Would prefer a stock evo 9 turbo or a fp turbo

I Sith think a fresh engine would smoke. The oil ring should be doing its job.
