Need some help

I'm not sure if this is in the right place so feel free to redirect me if necessary.

...Please?

I have a 2003 evo 8 that i just did an evo 9 MIVEC engine swap too. I purchased an engine, transmission and utilized my non-ACD transfer case. I also purchased an evo 9 engine harness, ecu and immobilizer. I reassembled everything accordingly, and it went together smoothly. While I had the opportunity I removed the EGR and EVAP systems and installed a grimmspeed EBCS. I have a copy of EvoScan and ecuflash both of which appear to be connecting to the ecu. I am using a basic Tephra map with the immobilizer and EGR disabled using Merlins ecuflash guide. Since the conversion I have replaced both cam sensors and the crank sensor and tested every related fuse both in the car and in the engine bay.
Now, the bad: With all of the above covered, well over 12v according to EvoScan, everything plugged in and tight (unless deleted as stated above), I am getting NO spark and NO fuel. The engine cranks and sounds smooth but doesn't start. I am completely stumped. The only thing that I can come up with is a possible dead ecu, but with no way to test it I am at a standstill. If there is anyone in Southern Oregon or Northern (and I mean Northern) California that would be willing to test my ecu in their evo 9 I would gladly come to you and pay for your time. Or if anyone has any insight as to WTF I'm missing here your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Are you getting fuel to the rail or is the pump even turning on?

Are you able to load the rom to the ecu? If your able to read/write to ecu, I doubt that the ecu (being bad) is the issue.

Double check the immobilizer is killed. I think it has to be killed in two places. Also try just a stock 9 rom and see where that gets you.

Problem solved! and a BIG lesson learned. Never, and I mean NEVER, take someones word for anything. If you can't verify it don't trust the information. Turns out that the "for sure answer to all my problems" that I got from a fellow enthusiast was less then perfect. Did a bunch of reading last night and early this morning and found the correct info that I needed. Made a couple of simple changes to my ROM, mostly concerning the immobilizer, and POOF I have a running, driving evo 8.5. I'm extremely happy with the swap. Thank you to everyone here on evom that helped out

Still a little early to tell power wise. I'm headed up to English to get it tuned once I finish buttoning everything up. Feels really good to have it back on the road, been a long 2 years.

I got really lucky and found a complete evo 9 MR engine/trans/t-case for dirt cheap. I used my non-acd t-case so I have an extremely low miles evo 9 acd t-case for sale if anyone is looking
ECU: 240 ebay
Engine harness: 250 ebay
6 Speed shifter w/cables and drivers side engine mount: 200 ebay
Misc interior pieces: 165 oemmitsubishiparts.com
Evoscan and ecuflash: you should have these already
Other than that time and beer, lots of beer. Feel free to get a hold of me if anyone runs into any snags with the swap, I hit pretty much all of them so I may be able to help.
