Evo values rose again (KBB)
hahaha. had my '05 since 4/2006 with 8k on it. 6 years and 106,000 miles later, it's still running like a top. original battery, clutch, and clearcoat, which is peeling bad. daily driven 76miles a day, spirited driving and a few passes at the track. other cars come and go, this is the car i will keep.
I'm kinda confused and not trying to burst anyones bubble. Why is KBB and Nada so different on these cars? It's like a 7K dollar difference. One of the sites has to be wrong and I think KBB is valuing these cars to high.
03 Evo with 50,000 miles is what I was using as a reference.
21K retail via KBB - Excellent
19K private party KBB
14K retail via Nada
12K trade in since nada doesnt private party so ~ 12-13K private party.

KBB from what I've seen is high. My bank's loan amount usually follows what NADA values are.

I'm all for going in between the nada and kbb price guide. Most banks/credit unions use nada though, so it doesnt matter what kbb say's. Peoples evos will just sit on the market alot longer if they go by kbb value.

Talk about resale value. It's a dealer, but still.
