door beeps with door open after disconnecting battery

I just had to replace the clock spring and head light switch on my car. It fixed my brights not working, SRS light turned off, and horn started working. so that was excellent.

now when ever the door is open even if the lights are not on or key isn't in ignition. it just constantly dings. WTF...

My key fob also quit working.......

Any one else have these issues?

Either buy it for cheap or tape it on. There are a few threads in here about that part. A lot of people just end up taping it. They break pretty easily.

that thing can break easily if some on is removing the Colum peice, its a small *** screw that holds the lil box on and can be quite a pest to get to. Its to tell you that you left you keys in the IG when leaving the car.
