That's too bad but I might get mine this week if the mailman doesn't decide to steal the package, 5 have gone missing in the past 3 weeks till I threaten to involve police then they magically appear. But if I pull this off it'll just be 40-50 bucks instead of 400 for you to put a system in

Still waiting on the mirror, was supposed to be here today but the seller never gave me tracking yet so who knows. But I already have all the parts I'm gonna need so once I do get it putting it in shouldn't take too long.

So after like a week of having to chase the post office around to get my package it looks like the mirror may be here but of course the driver didn't drop it off so I'll pick it up tomorrow and get cracking on the install. Barring any unforeseen problems the how-to should be up in a day or two.

Ok how-to is posted, the pics didn't work like I wanted them to but if you click the links you can see them till I figure out how to fix them. I'm no computer genius so that may be awhile haha.

It's in the how-to section. Here's a link https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...iew-cheap.html

Overall I'm very happy with it, now much more bulky than oem, (just like oem only with a row of buttons) and it really has some range on it, I can open the garage from about a quarter mile away and out receiver box is inside the garage.

Yes and also 350 plus shipping. There are only two companies that make these mirrors even for oem companies, gemtex and another. If you look at the how to you will see that my mirror looks the exact same and it only cost me 45 shipped. That is in no way to say ur mirror sucks or anything I'm just cheap and this allows us to retrofit them for a fraction of the price with the same exact quality.

I hear you on that for sure. I actually got a steal of a new one from ebay as 350$ is way out of my range of money to pay for a mirror.

Here's the finished product mirror was $70 shipped & in perfect shape--very pleased.

Thanks again to Jason42003 for the awesome idea of using a Mazda mirror!

Here it is w/ my V1 mount as well.

I have a luxury car now w/ Homelink/compass/auto-dim mirror, double-Din in dash Nav/satellite radio, Bluetooth, HD radio, etc lol
