Evo IX used car pricing: Thousands over book value
Go speed in a honda. Lawnmower with a leather couch.
The entire reason i bought the Evo was so I wouldn't fall asleep on the highway on a cushy sofa. I wanted something that would keep me grinning through every turn. (while crushing some german sedans along the way doesn't hurt either)

Two oil changes ago, when I was there, Sam said he could sell mine (bone stock IX SE -- Rigo always says it's pretty much the most immaculate one he sees come in) for $29-30k pretty easily.
Sounds like our cars are in similar condition. I've been offered good money for mine. as well. Not even thinking about selling. No way.

I picked up 5th last brand new EVO 9 in March 2007 from Mitsubishi Dealer in NY, when they checked stock there was 5 left in the country. Proud to say mine was 5th to last one
But what condition is yours in? And is it bone stock? Those are all factors that come into play, and they definitely help mine. Plus nearly all of my services were done at their dealership too, so there's plenty of easily accessible documentation of everything having been done. Never tracked either.
How long were you in NY before moving here? I hope your car didn't see too many East Coast winters.

Still have 100,000 original owner warranty on powertrain and 100,000 catalytic converter warranty due to recall on ECU they had few years back.
the only thing i added is a ralliart radiator cover to match the engine color. I kept every single receipt since I bought it, every oil change, every mitsubishi visit in Roseville, CA. clutch.....
Do you still have OEM Sticky Tires Advan's on it? Since they are $300 each I put on Bridgestones........I guess that's not stock anymore....as far as the tires......I dont have Brembo rotors - they are ****, couldnt wait to take them off, they lose braking when it rains and when they get hot. I changed to DBA xdrilled and slotted rotors. they are much safer.
No. I replaced the stock Advans at 25k miles (and they still had enough meat on them to sell them to someone on the forums -- if that shows how the car wasn't abused) with Z1 Star Specs, which I replaced at 50k miles with the Ventus V12 Evos (which I chose only because I wasn't tracking much but also was expecting to make a lot more weekend drives to see my family, since my mom's health was declining around that time), which I expect to last until I hit 85k, at the very least. But I'm kind of leaning toward better tires again.

Glad to see another driver thats not out-ricing his Evo. The reason I bought it originally so I dont have to do any upgrades anymore, and I am not racing it, i drive it 10 miles a day to work
and my 4 year old demands I drive him to his kindergarden in the morning in the Evo, not mommys Van

I'm on my second set of V12. Why? Because I like to be fast from April to November, and I love driving in the rain. Had I opted for, say, Z1 my car would be fast from May to September, and crawl the rest of the time. Well, hey, I could claim to have a better tire on the Internet. The V12 also weigh considerably less. It's rotational mass at its most crucial spot. But, what do I know?
