Identify Headstud

Identify Headstud

Simple question, how do i identify if i have an aftermarket or stock headstuds.

Bought my evo used, lots of sign it was a good ol put back to stock evo.

stock were not studs, they are bolts if I am not mistaken.

Aftermarket ones should be market on the top of the stud. That is how I found out mine were not stock

^This. If you can see a stud/nut instead of a bolt head then they're not OEM.

Also there is a good chance it will say ARP on the top of the nut/stud.

To get visuals of the studs/bolts, that would require me to remove my valve cover correct?

That is my spare engine that I bought a while back.
I will be replacing my valve cover gasket this weekend and will be taking a picture of that to see if my current engine has aftermarket studs or not

These are pictures I took half a year ago from my spare motor. I will get motor shots by tomorrow of the engine that I more interested in knowing than this one.
