Best way to deal with spinning wheel studs???
#31
Can anyone confirm / deny that these lug nuts are compatible with the stock BBS?
The mechanic said they are Toyota lug nuts and should be good. The shank diameter matches stock 0.725" but the shank length is longer at 0.550". I didn't measure the length of the stock lug nut shank, but it's definitely a noticeably difference.
Here is what the lug nut looks like: http://www.sfxperformance.com/parts/GOR73137TXLB-20.htm
I'm worried that when the lugs are tightened down they may cause the wheel to sit slightly off the hub.
Although after I torqued down the wheel using the Toyota lug nut it does seem to sit as flush the other wheels attached via the stock lug nut, but I'm still nervous...
Can anyone confirm / deny to make feel better or worse?
