Exclamation Transmission Question/ HELP

So it has come time to start fixing my Evo up FINALLY
I've been looking around and found a few threads about the same problem i've been having but still cannot fix it.
SO the problem im having is my shifter in the cabin is being VERY SLOPPY.
As in you place it in 1,2,3,4,5 gear and you can move it all over the place while its in gear.
Also, its hard to get it into 1st 2nd 5th or reverse because there is so much play in the shifter.

NOW, ive checked the in cabin bushings, the shifter cables and nothing.
Went ahead and replace both the shifter bushings in the cabin AND under the hood.

I think i've found the problem with the actual shifter fork on the transmission. It's the bracket that connects from the transmission to the shifter cables.
I need help finding the parts number or maybe if someone has replaced this part? If they can share some input?

I attached a picture i found of it on the web lol
Its the whole bracket the guy is pointing at with his hand from pointer finger to pinky

It's 2 separate parts ain't it? It looks like one bracket.
Why do you think it's your problem anyway?

Thanks!!
Noticed it was missing the rubber cover on it. When I started playing with it I noticed it had a lot of play in it and the one time it somehow locked up my shifter started working

Just FYI this part also comes on the Dodge Ram, Chrysler Sebring and the Dodge Stratus
If youre in a bind and as cheap as i am lol NOT GOING TO PAY $10 bucks shipping for a $7 part.... You can hit up the junk yard and just nab one

ALSO in my search of finding OEM parts... I came across this very useful website http://www.mitsubishipartssource.com

It helps find the part number to whatever OEM part you are looking for AND it shows you what car models the part was also included in

SO for me... not going to pay $120 a piece for the drip molding on the Evo... You can instead get the one off of a regular lancer and its the SAME EXACT FIT. Im going to the junk yard this weekend just to confirm BUT the site says the model number is the same for both cars with the only variation being is for with/without the sunroof.

Yeah, I was sitting here trying to figure out what goes wrong with a bracket. You may lift the entire transmission using the bracket and no harm. But, yeah, you need the plastic thingy.
