The anticipation is killing me!

Ok guys.

I soldered those wires all together solid this time, put the plug back in and it fired right up the first time I hit the key. Hopefully this will help the next guy!

Idled like it normally does. No issues there.

I took it down the road, I mashed the gas a little to try and build about 5lbs and when I did, the car felt like it was bogging down and choking and then I let off the gas and resumed driving under no boost. The sound the bov makes sounded way different and choked off sounding. I went down, made a u turn and while coming back to my house I mashed the gas one more time and this time it starting building boost and when it got just under 5 I let off and the bov made its normal noise...

Got to my driveway, pulled in, pulled back out, drove down again and it did the exact same thing. First time I try, it bogs when you try to start building anything, second time I tried it on the way back, it started building boost and the bov let off as normal.

It must be something simple...I'm thinking perhaps a hose somewhere is not right, or maybe when the guy coated the waste gate actuator maybe it's stuck shut? Would that cause this? Tomorrow morning I will remove the pin on there and check to see if the arm moves freely. It's obviously something just not working right in my turbo system. But we solved the first problem! lol

Thanks dude (and everybody who responded).

I drove it around a bit again this morning.

When I first got in and cranked it up, I sat there and tried to rev the engine a few times. When doing this, it was as if it was choking and bogging. Then I revved it a few times and it seemed fine. Took it out on the road and boosted it 5 or 6 times near my house, ran flawless.

I'll try to drive it a few more times this week just to see if it stops doing that.

In the meantime, feel free to chime in with things that could potentially be causing this symptom.

It's been tuned, about a year ago. It was running perfectly fine before I took the turbo off to coat it. Just something somewhere isn't right I guess.

but it was tuned on the high z? If it was it was with an improper resistor pack delete. They are probably flowing a bit different now

I put cams in it, a better turbo, fuel injectors, ect, and I bypassed that resistor. Then got it tuned. Should be no change at all.

but it wasnt bypassed correctly right? The wires were just cut? Could have changed how the injectors are firing causing the bit of bogging you were noticing

All the wires were bare and twisted together the first time so it was making good contact, I think I just pulled them apart working on the car this time.

I drove it to work today, about a half hour trip. Drove great just as before. Maybe I just needed to clear its sinuses.
