Congrat Acuraandy, you have to change your name now, haha
RSX is a girl car ... 8 out of 10 RSX i saw on the road were driven by GIRL !!!. I guess now you have to get use to more frequent trip to gas station now. Enjoy your EVO and drive SAFE !

Yeah, no more ***** cars for me! I think I'm getting a Hummer next! In regards to gas, should I use the highest octane available? At Sunuco, I can get 95 octane, but I was using 93 in the RSX.

You got an excellent deal. Your first deal wasn't a bad deal at all either and when you add in all the extra you spent running all over as well as your time you paid just as much for the 3rd one as if you'd taken the 1st one. Enjoy your car and quit worrying you overpaid the price of a lousy soda a day cuz that's what $500 boils down to in the long run.

Didn't know they made these as roadsters..

congrats from a fellow silver owner. And I agree with LDB .. $500 really is not a big deal, esp if you're financing. You wont notice the extra few bucks. I understand saving money is great, but the time and effort for a minimal amt in the long run...

also there was a post about not getting under MSRP in Chicago.. I have to disagree. I got mine in early Jan and I was able to get a few hundred over invoice. Unless you were talking about out the door price..

Rocketscience ... the last time my buddy and I looked at various Mitsu dealers in the Chicago area, they wouldn't even let us test drive one. Granted that was back in August of '03, and things might have loosened up a bit, but I ended up getting mine down in Bloomington/Normal (O'Brien Mitsu). The people were super nice to deal with, very straight forward and actually preempted me and asked if I wanted to drive one. Just out of curiosity, where'd u get yours?

Acuraandy ... just don't get an H2 (which IMNSHO is an insult to the Hummer name)

please stay away from brad benson mitsu... only reason i haggled the price down was because they wanted a sale and i knew exactly the value of the car and showed him its either their evo or i go buy an sti with 29 more HP... oh and it took me 2 hours to haggle .. they buncha tools...

ludikraut: It was schaumburg. I know. Everyone says stay away from there. I'll get service somewhere else most likely. But they had 2 new ones at the time I got mine. 1 silver, 1 red on the floor which had a nasty gouge on the footstep in the door. I wanted silver anyway. And being winter and Jan.. they were willing to deal. It wasnt TOO difficult. I knew what I was willing to pay and hate haggling. So I just say what I'm willing to part with and dont budge. I tell them up front I dont want to do that back and forth crap. It was farily painless. I could see how in 8/03 they were still trying to ask for more than msrp. But I was at Libertyville recently. They had like 5-6 still on the lot. 1 in every color. And they added a lot of dealer options. Pin stripes, wheel well guards, etc. All that stuff I would demand they take off.

I agree, can't wait to hammer it! Took it for along drive today, I have never driven anything like it! The handling is amazing. I had an 87 911, that felt like a shopping cart compared to the EVO. As far as quality, it honestly feels more solid than my RSX, doors close nicer too. The question is, will it stay that way?
I do notice the clutch take-up is a little soft, need some rev's to take off smoothly and not bog. Is this why people are putting on a ss clutch line?
The only mod I need right now is a key chain. Anyone know where to get a cool one?
Bye Bye RSX!!!!
