My power steering line just got cut in the exact same way...by the CAM gear. I just ordered the line on Ebay for $50. After reading this whole thread it looks like im in for an adventure to replace it. DId anyone who performed this take pictures while doing it?

Hey I have a huge question concerning your power steering line replacement: I followed your procedure;

However I've tilted the back of the motor up as far as it will go but still cannot get the line out. Did you pull the line out from the driver's fender well or did yo pull the line through the engine bay and out through the hood? Either way it keeps getting hung up on something. There are just too many curves in the hard metal line.

Your help is greatly appreciated
