MBC Installation Location

Where is a good location to install a MBC on a IX? I looked for pictures but didn't come up with any.

It looks like I could use the front lower right bolt that holds the stock airbox down by the headlight plug. It would be a very short run for the lines which I'm guessing is a good thing.

Didn't install mine but its located underneath the stock airbox on the lower airbox bolt. The location is close to stock and won't raise any suspiciouns

It would be easier for us to suggest a location if you could tell us which boost controller you were going to be installing.

It's a Forge that came with the Warrtalon package. The side of the box has FMUNOS. I do have a straight and an angled bracket that came with the installation kit.

Here is where I first installed these units when we first released them and where many people have done their installs:

It will require that you drill a hole in the straight bracket between the two exsisting smaller holes and you will also need to remove the greenish colored metal hard line for the blow off valve and just run and vacuum line straight from the valve to the intake manifold. The hard line is in the way to install the boost controller in this spot.

I went with my original idea, on the front bolt that holds the airbox down. After I had it in place the one line was touching the side of the raditor which was very hot, so I bolted both brackets together to move it away. I could use the factory guides on the bottom of the air intake duct to keep the hoses together for a neat installation.

If I ever get around to buying a digital camera I'll post some shots.
