How to turn up boost w/ Buschur MBC?

Do I turn it clockwise to increase the boost? I've turned it a couple of times now and I can't get above 15psi... WTF?

I'm not familiar with buschur's but i have a hallman, and it works in the same way, i haven't experienced this problem, but what is that one rated for? because without hte boost controller in place, your run 10 lbs to the wastegate.

and then once you "tune" your boost controller you add to the 10 lbs, so with your boost controller your only adding 5, very odd. have you called buschur?

Is it correctly installed? do you have any leaks?

I'm gonna re-check the install.
Can you confirm that "clockwise" turns (increase) boost. Thanks

The MBC itself may be bad

Take the valve out of the car and blow in the inlet. At first, you should feel resistance, then the valve should open. Decrease the air pressure, and the valve should close. If it doesn't something is wrong with the valve.

I have seen a defective valve that was easily repaired; after taking it apart (it was a ball valve unit) I could see that the ball had come out of its area and was not seating. I was essentially open all the time, hence the 15 psi (wastegate opening pressure) boost.

my mbc was only letting me run 15psi and my problem was a blown wastegate actuator

so if all else fails pressure check that too

could also be a number of leaks around your piping and/or BoV.

Is there any possible way you could use your stock boost controller again?
If so, take off ur MBC and see if ur still having the problem. If not, then its the MBC

Well I think I may have been turning the MBC the wrong way to increase boost. I kept turning it down instead of up (at least I think so).

If I can't get it back to normal today I'll take the MBC off and inspect it. I'm also going to order a MR divertor valve to take a leaky BOV out of the equation.

Mine was working just fine for months so I'm hoping nothing major is wrong.. just the setting was screwed up.

Ok I think I may have found the problem. One of the nipples on the boost controller has a lil hole in it.. like the nut where it connects to the mbc.. I had put silicon around the outside of the hose and its clogged that lil hole up..

I'm assuming this is where boost is bled.. So when I clean this lil hole I bet my boost is set waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to high.
