You should be fine. I think it is more of a precaution than a must,

I second the mobil1 synthetic grease. Pretty cheap from what I remember and readily available.

push the release fork over and it should snap right on if you assembled it right.

I don't think anyone mentioned this, but when doing a clutch install don't you have to clean out the bell housing and areas around where the clutch sits?

Someone said it was important to clean out grime, grease, etc. when doing the clutch install.

I just got done with my own and didnt clean it out. Although when I work on a customers car I typically spray it down with some brake cleaner and wipe it out. Not a must but why not when your in there..

someone from the top and someone on the bottom.

Use a strong flathead to get it lined up better.

Shouldn't take anymore than a few minutes.

Took me about 10mins that included figuring out the best way to get the bolt back through.

Good luck, I'm sure you can get it in.

Might I suggest applying a bit of lube to the rear mount bushing's exposed sides before raising the subframe back up. The bushing rubber can put the assembly into a bind if it catches when going back into place. This can be a pain to correct after you've already got the subframe back into position.
