I don't know how it attached but you can try using floss and a hair dryer.

I think that badge is held on by clips. It may require removing the front bumper cover.

lol im just going to color/bake them. Anyways, I know for sure if anyone likes the little triangle there but not like the mitsu logo, its not a hard job to cover off the imprint. I for one wanted my sign there so i just colored it black.

It's not too hard to get it off, I took mine off and painted it black. It's alot easier if you have someone to help you. Get some dental floss or braided fishing line and then have your partner try and lift up the top point of the diamond and then slip your string under the logo. While they are still holding upward pressure on the logo start sawing with your string, pull down & out as you saw back and forth. This will keep the string from rubbing against your paint so you don't scuff the paint on your bumper. You will see from this point that it will come of quite easily. It is held onto your bumper with double sided tape. It also has two little pins on that stick thru your bumper.

Now, on painting the emblem: I tried baking mine but actually found out if you allow the paint to dry as per instructions on the can it works just as well and seems to look better. Make sure and sand the emblem to give the paint something to grip. Also, I used plastic primer and then flat black then about three coats of clear. One more thing, I ended up screwing up my first one by sanding it too much and it eventually broke, so I bought new ones thru the Lancer Shop and am glad that I did. They come with the double sided tape all ready on them, made life easier. Hope this helps you.
