I would add some sort of protection for the floor to keep gravel and sand from your shoes abrading off the paint.

Here's an example: http://www.tatomotorsports.com/interiore7.asp

Look for the false floors. They would look cool as well as protect the paint on your floor.

Eventually my car will get gutted to put in a cage, and I was planning on doing the gutting myself instead of paying someone $70/hr when that money would be better spent for them welding. Any advice how to go about it?

i just have to gut the car. I've gutted the last 4 ive owned, Just got started a little earlier on this one since i was so ready to mod. it and not ready to mess with the engine.
to nubby: it's just a trial and error thing. I've done it 4 times now so it went really quick not to meantion the evo was the easies i've ever done. If anyone has any ?'s on getting stuff out to PM me. I suggest just taking all your tools out there, take a whole day off, and just start pulling.

I'm about to go around and try to get some sponsorships so this project should move along pretty quick. If anyone has any sponsor ideas let me Know. I'm going to the dealership, a local work shop, and an aftermarket parts shop to start with. Does Buschur do any sponsorships? They seem really busy, don't wanna waste there time b4 i hear whether or not they do it. Almost every part i want, they have. I'd totally ***** my car out for a good discount.

undrcroft: I kinda thought it would just be a figure it out as you go along sort of thing, but thought I'd check to make sure there wasn't anything I should look out for. Thanks for the advice.
