crb 600 - i think you just won the dumbest post award bro. he never said that you HP level rises as the weight goes down. he said that taking off 10lbs is LIKE adding 1 hp. it does not really add power but it has the same affect due to the power/weight ratio. please don't come here from other places just to showhow smart you are where in fact you don't even understand the oriiginal post.

If somebody took the line of 20hp free literally then that person really has no idea what they are reading. CBR600RR your a shame to the biker community

Good job for stripping your evo, I am not that brave to do that to my daily driver but I think that is the best way for making your car better. I am a true believer in improving power to weight ratio as opposed to just power. Better performance, better gas mileage, Cheaper tires (since they dont wear as quickly, please dont take this literally), less stress on the engine!

what?!?!?! you think that if your car weigh less than the tires cost less in the store?? thats the funniest thiing i havee ever heard. tires price do not change when you take off weight. (this post is sarcastic and i am just making fun of CBR600)

Thanks for spelling it out
I truly doubt that CBR 600 would have figured it out otherwise

Thanks
It was definitely one of the highlights from that day -- not often you get to pass an F40 on the track. I think it really speaks to weight reduction. It doesn't take any more than 200bhp when the car only weighs 1200 lbs

whats wrong with the guy wantign a lighter car? i would kill to get my car down to 3k lbs. he also did buy an rs, so it was already a less comfortable evo. I say props for being hard core and nearly breaking that 3k mark!!

my favorite responses are the ones by the people who dont understand that weight matters more than anything else for road racing. A lightweight car has a 3 fold advantage.. braking, accel, and cornering.

OH MY GOD......... I cannot beleve some one actually thought i meant taking weight off gave the engine more power. How could you possibly be that stupid.
CBR 600 RR, you are too stupid to live.... have you ever heard of an enzo ferrari? have you ever seen F1 cars. Have you never seen people putting carbon fiber pieces on their bike? lightening you car is EQUIVELENT to making more horsepower for free, RETARD!!!!. Why the hell do you think sports bikes are so fast? because they have the horespower of a V8? no moron because they are light!!!
I almost feel sorry for you. Not because you have mental problems but because i know you must have gotten such a boner when you thought you caught someone saying something stupid and you were going to get to make fun of them. Get a life loser.

hahah wow

and the car is looking good

keep it up.

The last time that my window got busted out, i stripped out the whole car to make sure that their was no glass laying around. ( i was also bored, had 2 days off work, and nothing to do) i drove it around like that for about 2 weeks, it was awesome

also, i am willing to bet that his evo will lap alot faster than yours around the track and the braking difference will be great. and yes, your car will smoke his car in a staright line but not all of us care about that. some people actually bought the evo for its amazing handling you know
yes, calling me names really do proves that you are smart and mature

now i will give you this warning because i am nice, stop with the name calling or i will ban you from this site. i did not use name calling andd my response was actually dead on because all you guys jumped on him for taking off weight. you said "seats + carpet = 10lbs" which is wrong no matter how you look at it. iif you would have said "rear seats + carpet= 10lbs" that would be more accurate yet still wrong because it is closed to 20lb (i checked)

So maybe you should think before you post...
And being that he just got the car and has no track experience with it, I be willing to bet I could throw a few 45lb plate and still smoke him as I actually track my car, No wannabee's here.
You can always tell it is going to be a quality post when it starts out "Hey Retard". Nothing like a personal attack to set the tone.

I don’t remember undrcroft claiming any track prowess. It is very generous of you to prove to us that you could handle him on the track all through natural talent. And to give up a negligible weight penalty with your 405 whp. You are too kind!

If your driving ability matches your intellect you would get spanked

I would say that you are the very definition of a “wannabee” – trying to prove yourself by drawing a poor and irrelevant comparison. We could care less who you are.

BTW – not that blonde needs defending I just take issue with personal attack posts.
