great write up but im a little confused on those rig shots...by looking at it i gathered the camera was set up to the lower right front side of the car facing the car but those shots that followed look like they were taken by someone else, instead of the rig, driving next to the car...?

the car isnt even turned on, its coasting at like .5mph but the shutter speed is set where it gives the illusion that the car is going 80+mph. the camera is activated my a remote that is attached to the camera.

We switched the rig position in a few of the shots so you can see why the position of the angle is different. The camera is low to the ground but has a wideangle lens on so that the entire car can be seen. I believe the lens Vince uses is a Canon 12-22mm, quite an expensive lens ($600-$700 new).

i went out last night with some friends of mine and took some pics of them riding bikes. this may not be much help because i can't remember what all settings i had the camera on. i know i had the iso set to 800, using the A setting(aperature I assume) , and the f was all over the place but for the ones below i think it was on 6.0 - 11.0. my question is what can i do as far as setting up the camera to get these shots to come out with less blur and possibly reduce the iso for a clearer picture. i was also using a vivitar 285hv on the hotshoe. PS this was all done without a tripod(i do have one i just didn't use it)

too much flash, but not a bad picture

iso 800, fstop aprox 11, exp -2 i think

same as above except the fstop was 7 or so

iso 800, fstop7.1 or 6.3 i can't remember exactly and i wanna say the exp was -3

use a tripod. if you dont it wont work out well. you might be able to pull it off with vibration reduction lens at 2.8 or wider and a pretty high ISO but then things will get noisy.
