My car is almost there! Just a few more things before a shakedown at the local track.
Need to make headlight duct, get alignment, bleed brakes, mount new brake ducting, proper stickers and rock and roll

Finished splitter

My dumb *** standing on the splitter, supports me no problem

NACA duct done

SFI roll bar padding installed

You know, until the other day I never noticed you had 2 threads going. And apparently I've been posting in both, lol.

Doh. I put one in the motorsport forum because I figured most the track guys don't go in the show and shine section.

Little by little I got some more stuff done today.

I got a few more pounds of random metal out of the car today.

The scrap pile

I got my 3inch brake ducts mounted up. I wasn't real pleased with fittment before but I got them mounted super solid so there is no chance of any excess caliper flex.

My dad started on my headlight duct yesterday and it is coming out great. I am gonna finish up tomorrow.

Rear of light

And for the people asking about the splitter mounting:

Looks like you went to town on the sheet metal in there!!! Weight reduction is lots of fun. I just pulled 116 pounds out of my X today in 3 hours because I was bored.

^ Sweet I love shedding some weight!

Got some more work done on the car tonight, finished up the headlight duct, cut more crap of the car (finally got my front door completely gutted), got my brake ducting set up. Car goes to the alignment shop tomorrow.

more door junk

Solid piece of aluminum. My pops is gonna mill me some shifter housing risers with a bevel cut in to act as a solid bushing. Should be sweet.
