Does anyone know what the 2 8pin connectors are that come out of the fusebox under the hood and plug into the engine harness?

These are the 2 connectors I am speaking of..They connect from the underhood fusebox to the engine harness.

bump, anyone? Wanna start redoing my harness and wanna know if I can eliminate these and just wire in new relays

After looking thru the fusebox, it looks as if those connectors are for the AC fans and PWM fan control. Can anyone verify if I can remove these?
