Evo VIII Build in The Mitten State
Thanks guys! Appreciate the comments. Really enjoying the car now!
I have heard very light rubbing during hard cornering, but nothing too concerning. The tire rubs the fender splash shields at full lock, but I believe that is because my caster is a bit out of whack right now. I'm a new father as well, so I totally get where you are coming from man! It definitely changes things up a bit, haha.
Outstanding build sir
. Have you noticed any rubbing or fitment issues with your wheel size/offset since installing the coilovers? I am very impressed with those coliovers from reading you last couple of posts. Maybe one day...I'm a new father so my priorities have shifted for a while but you build thread gives me something to look forward to down the road!

wow, this car is coming along very nicely. i just got orders to detroit for august 1st. can't wait to see this car in person. i just picked up a 90 talon TSi (1gDSM) for a DD untill my evo is done. should be awesome.
Who are you getting your dsm from out that way? I fit is from the couple people I am thinking Pm me and lets talk. I can try to save you a bunch of headache.
I took my car out to Warren and Jeremy of AntiLag Racing to have it tuned on Sunday. They were both awesome guys and went out of their way to help me out. I'd for sure recommend them to anyone that needs street tuning done in Michigan!
They installed my new spark plugs and helped me out with some leaks on the car, including a rather large boost leak. I've been so busy that I really haven't had a chance to complete any maintenance on the car, so I was happy that they were willing to get that stuff sorted for me
The car is tuned to a conservative 22 PSI and feels great for my needs, which is primarily daily driving. I haven't gotten into boost much at all since December, so it's a blast to drive the car now. The drivability is awesome and hopefully this will remain a reliable setup for me. I'm sure some will scoff at the engine and drivetrain remaining relatively stock, but I simply don't have the time or resources (namely a beater car) to get into that this time around. For the time being, I'm a happy guy!

I'll have some more detailed updates shortly. I've got a list of maintenance items to do including an alignment, as well as wiring up my gauges, installing the pedals I've had laying around, and my JDM rear should arrive today or tomorrow. The next couple updates should be interior and exterior related. Pretty slow for the time being, but hopefully I'll have some cool stuff in the next month or so.

Thanks! The wheels are 18x9.5 +20.
I got my gauges back and center console trim back and I am really pleased with the results. The color is perfect IMO. I still need to finish wiring up the gauges though- time has not been on my side lately.

Still need to toss those IX pedals in as well...
