another set of headlights painted and finished

okay guys here is my fourth set of lights that i've torn apart, painted the housings, and painted the back of the projector.
If anyone is interested im providing this service now.. if interested please PM me and i can answer any questions you may have.

NOT A SINGLE IMPERFECTION WITH THE HOUSINGS =)

I still need to clear the lens up with the 3M kit, but im going to wait until the lights are installed before doing so!
if anyone is interested in getting this done please let me know! =)

Is that a glossy black that you painted or a flat black?

i dont like the orange side markers with red lenses, looks like a tacky attempt at color matching even though i know that wasn't the attempt. the black color you use on the housings looks really good though. not too shiny, but not matte

oh yeah, i've never ran into any issues with using the old adhesive if you reheat it and stick it back togeather well-enough and NOT prying the hell out of the light always helps lol. but with my friends MS3 we used a great clear silicone just incase and it's held up for several months now. ill post a pic of his headlight here in a minute.

Looks pretty good. I've been doing headlights for a few years now. Retrofits and painting both. I would recommend doing the clear plastic while they are still off the car. That way you can get a more even finish across the headlights when doing the cutting and sealing on the clear. I use a high UV protecting coating on the clear plastic after refinishing them as well. You can also make your own "3m style" kit with just varying degrees of sand paper and rubbing compound.
If you have any questions or anyone needs help (or a set done), let me know.
