Your opinion on gauge face design...

Evo11V, I'm trying to stay away from the term "overlay" because it's too easily confused with the vinyl stuff that goes on top of the stock gauge face which this is not.
More to come

has anyone seen the E55 or newer mercedez benz gauges? HOTNESS... electro illuminescent with bright clear gauges... best gauges Ive seen, and their is a digital readout in the middle of the gauges... probably be very costly and take engineering skills, but it looks very HOT!
Wow....those look like ***. If anything, I would like guages from a new lexus...i.e. the ES330, RX330, LS430. They are Electro Illuminesent too and look way better than those Benz guages, and basically better than anything else except the guages from new Acuras like the new TL and MDX. But I love how these are turning out too, and that night glow pic just owned me
I don't really like any sort of "glow" gauges. They look ricey and cheapey to me. The red on black or amber on black is still the way to go.
Of course, I am open to options, but like I like (insert your color of choice) on black over any glow type gauges.
Oh I know how they look, like the Lexus gauges etc.
When I mean "glow" I mean like, something on a white background... it's ehhhh. Seems to be the popular thing to do with cars nowadays though, vs the green on black from the early 90's.
