It also reminds me of when I had squeeky pads. I used the search button and found the answer though. Now I try to spread the word However, since I used the search button, why can't other people?

Hey mobounce did you ever get your pads not to squeek? I know that was the ONLY thing on my mind when mine were squeeking till I finally fixed them.

Just a note. I had the Ferodo 3000's on my car (rear) when I purchased the car, & they sounded like a train stopping when I would ease up to a traffic light...

After pulling apart the rear brakes, & cleaning everything, I used Permatex's spray-on anti-squeek spray. It is blue, & feels sticky... Anyways, sprayed the back of the pads, & both sides of the metal shim. Rear brakes are totally quiet now.. 2 days later... If they start squawking again, I'll post back up, but if they last 30 days between re-spraying, I'll be satisfied.

My stock pads squeak like mad. I assumed it was dust or something. I checked them and they were as clean as can be. After I took it to the dealer he told me to drive it faster and heat up my brakes to clean off the dust , and that I WASN"T applying enough pressure with my daily driving. . I'll try the Permatex thanks for the great topic!

We'll be suprised if your rotors last that 30days with 3000's on there. Those are not street pads. I wouldn't even recommend 3000's on the rear of the evo when on the track. They'll rarely get up to temp.

Has anyone tried using the loctite c5-a copper anti-seize? Should be the same thing right?
