Using a non RS stock master and eclipse proportioning/distribution block to replace the abs unit should work? Correct?

If I unplug the ABS in an ACD IX and just leave it unplugged, will that affect my speedo in any way?

So on a IX GSR, what would the wheel speed sensors being unplugged affect exactly?

And couldn't you put power (less then 5v) to each wire and use alligator clips and test where the power goes to on another wire. Then just splice those two together to bypass the ABS module?

AFAIK.. the wheel speed sensors are what the abs ecu uses to determine if it needs to engage/disengage the abs system for each wheel individually. i do know, for sure, the rpm gauge in your cluster comes from a sensor in your transmission, i disabled and removed my abs completely and still have factory working cluster.

Did you do it with or without the RS harness?

sorry must have missed this. i did it without, but i did some extensive slimming down of the stock harness over last winter while i was at it...

interior harness pulled out:

unwrapped.. at this point I had already removed all of the unnecessary wiring from the driver seat to the tail lights (pile on the left) before I decided to go wild on it:

engine harness on top, didn’t take out very much here. lighting, abs stuff (abs ecu on far right), and acd stuff:

done (prior to re-looming), engine and interior. only wiring for the entire car not pictured is the section running to the back of the car, just 7 more wires iirc:

Do you still have it Evo AK? I have no problem spending the $140 on that part list posted a few posts up I just want to make sure that is everything ill need to remove the ABS. What exactly comes with the STM ABS Removal kit? Will I need anything else? How come the price is so much more than those part numbers? Things just don't add up I guess, lol.

STM kit is more because they use an oem rs master cylinder, which in turn is a lot more but the same for the most part as a lancer master cylinder
