I went with a lancer master and ordered the other parts. I haven't started the re wire yet of the speed sensors for acd to work. Anyone tackle this yet?

Bumping this for a question.

when I type in the part number for a pressure metering valve on mitsubishiparts.net, it pulls up all the different ones for the evo and lancer models (part number MR249607) . Which one do I get if im planning on using the lancer master cylinder? Also, will any lancer without abs master cylinder work, or only certian models?

Thanks

Josh

To be clear I have a rs and I did a booster delete, so I used a smaller lancer mc and reused my prop valves

I was confirming mc fitment for the non abs model, I already had an rs and deleted the booster. There was a question about regular lancer vs Evo prop valves.

Yeah. I don't think they realized you were already non abs from the get-go.

I just did this mod on my GSR 03 evo.

lancer mc does fit perfectly the bore size is smaller than abs model and even standard rs model, so the pedal stroke should increase at least to where brake engagement is but i doubt its very significant. dont quote me though.

buy a base lancer mc, 2 prop rs valves to thread into lancer mc(doesnt come with them) and all the oem lines from mitsubishi. its gonna come out to around $180 shipped for everything and its very simple to install. the rear two lines disconnect right under the firewall so dont wrry you wont have to pull the entire line out just the front half.

i have yet to start the car and try the brakes because im doing other part installs currently but this is a nice mod to do to drop 7-10lbs and clean up the bay at the same time

Good info thanks! Do any of the lancer ones work? Obviously they have to be for a M/T, non abs

This is what it looks like finished.

I had a rod bend and window the block, having all that extra wiring and unused stuff removed from the bay has made it much easier to pull the engine or anything else from the bay.

when you removed the relay plate where did you put the relay and the other boxes that were part of it?

also when you say you routed the wiper harness into the cabin how would I go about that?
