the official VOLK TE37 thread...
Got Evo IX, no front / rear fender mods. Currently run 7RS suspension and Robispec springs (winter setup). Have Ohlins Road&Track sitting in the box. I have TE37Cs +30 front and +40 rear but I don't like "flat" faces so they are for sale
Can swap my current set of rims (Advans RS-D 18x8.5 +38) for TE37SLs 18x9.5 +22. Want to keep the tires which are Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2 245/40/18. Question... Can I run SLs and Michelins w/out fender mods? Some people here say I need to roll rears while other say I don't. I'm kind of confused... Thanks!

Can anybody give me any insight here. I have a set of Te37SL 17x9.5+12 on a 255/40/17. They don’t fit, so i am selling them. I’m going to buy another set but I don’t want to buy another set and have them not fit. I want 18” rims. So can anybody give me the best spec for 18” te37 that will not rub or require much work? My fenders are already rolled and I want to be able to drive the car with little to no rub at all. Please let me know, thanks!
Best rim/tire spec for te37.

Will TE37s 18x9.5 have any problems fitting a 2005 Evo 8? When I was buying tires for them today the guys at discount tire seemed concerned that these wheels are to big.... I ordered both Nitto NT555 G2 265/35/18 & 255/35/18 just to make sure the 265s won’t rub.
265/35's fit fine. Just need to roll the rear fender flat, and give it some pull.
And depending on your coilovers, the front may need a 5-10mm spacer to clear the strut.
This is with a +35 offset. Going lower makes the rear harder and harder to fit.

+22's in a 9.5" width is very, very tough to fit correctly, w/no rub
You will need all the tricks in the rear. (tight rear roll, slight fender pull, bumper bolt relocation & aggressive rear camber setting at approx -1.8 to -2.0)
Dont get me wrong, its doable but the necessary work is needed to prevent any chance of rub

Well **** I wish the guys at vivid racing would have said something about that. I wouldn’t have bought these things knowing body work needs to be done. What would you suggest? Smaller tire? Smaller wheel? If so what’s the biggest te37 I can run without modifying my fenders? Maybe a different offset in the rear...
