CBRD tune evo X MR..

here is a X MR we just completed,

mod list as follows:

Extreme boost dump (has some issues, pipe was hitting the power steering line and heat shield, which had to be bent alot, and was already bent once before)

AP bov (fluttery, dont like it, recommend stock or APS)

Perrin Inlet (works very nice)

ARC Airbox

HKS Legamax catback..

AP 3 port (similar to perrin style, worked well)

We had to make some SST mapping changes (thanks to Bryan from GST, jon of HB, and Jestr for some rom updates)....

otherwise the car runs great, and made very respectable power... I for one do not care for the sound of the Dump tubes, on any car... but it is working well here, because of the smaller catback!!

only 25.3 psi, tapering to 19psi..... flat 11.5 AFR

Cheers

Hey out of curiosity Chad, how much WGDC did you have to run up top? With all the current issues that seem to be popping up with the Forge WGA, im surprised that he didn't just stick with the Blouch/CBRD WGA.

Either way, great numbers!

He came to us with these mods...

i dont care for the forge at all..

my recommendation would be our actuator that we get from BT, and a pierburg solenoid!!

50 % WGDC all 3 ports hooked up!! it was a little knock happy up top, so i had the boost backed down!

Nice results. I'd like to bring my MR up there for some CBRD magic. I just need to decide whether I'm upgrading my turbo or not first. aznevovIII, how far out did you have to book your appointment?

Huge thanks for Chad,

the car runs 110% better than way it was.

now I can push the car 100% throttle without any issues, sounds nasty (thanks to open dump) + HKS Legamax combo. (Very quite until ur turbo spools!)

Anyone with EVO X in MD/PA/DE area, should or must go to CBRD for their TUNE!

I plan on taking m car to either CBRD or Ivey, it is a bit of a hike either place, but I am still waiting on a few parts to get delivered (turbo xs HFC(on backorder)) and some questions to be answered.
