I got the SSS package and love it. My first car with HID and I can not believe the difference. The Stereo sounds as good as my friends aftermarket set up he had professionally installed, and he spent almost 2K on just the equipment.

I checked out the system this past weekend and it was pretty good. I can live with the system as is for now. My stereo in my car cost about $700 which I consider decent and the SSS is comparable.

I got the SSS package and I think the sound is definately not stock sounding but if you are a hard core car audio person you may want to change it. The head unit isn't to bad but it's funny with the MP3s. I have bought an Pioneer AVIC-D3 and I am awaiting someone to make a harness to tap into the stock amp or I am just going to change it all out. Either way, all the other goodies with the package make it worth it.

I'd buy it just for the bigger spoiler (and HIDs too of course) and consider the 650 watt system a bonus.

Sorry, I love that wing! haha.

hmm, noize i know u got ur car already but my opinion on the rockford stereo is that it plain sucks. Its loud and the sub can get obnoxiously loud but the sq just isnt there. When I drive my car I cant tell if my headache is a result of the speakers or the engine wail.

Yeah, this thread is old and I agree that the Rockford is not that good. IMO, the factory HIDs and spoiler were worth the price of the SSS package though. I upgraded the front speakers in the stereo and it helped out quite a bit.

I didnt realize the base gsr had the sirius radio. I dont like hids(cutoff/cant see in the rain), the spoiler, or the sub (takes up too much of the already small trunk), so i basically bought the package thinking i wanted the fast key and the sirius. blah.
