Does the 2014 Evo touchscreen radio support back up camera?
Anyway I'm going out of town Saturday until the 30th, so if the camera doesn't come in and I get over to his house to do the install before I leave it'll be after I get back, but I'll take some photos and do a write up for sure, sorry for the delay.
Backup Camera..
I just saw this post!

Nice Find man...
ok so after scouring the internet until 4 AM last night i discovered the below linked site. The guy has a 2013 Outlander with out radio and back up camera and is trying to put in an aftermarket radio. He makes quite a bit of headway on the pin out. Also its seems the 2014 navi uses the same connector but what looks like a different pin out so i think the harness mentioned earlier might work if just used for the connector.

Hey guys so I was doing some thinking and I think Mitsubishi must have a harness for it. So I thought they must have put it in the trunk since on the lancer 2014 they have the rear camera installed in the trunk and not the rear bumper and/or license plate. So I pulled off the liner on the trunk itself and found one harness connection that was just sitting there. All other connection go to brake lights. Its a two wire connection, blue and black. I think this might be it. I did do a voltage check on these when in reverse and they were getting no power so we might need to follow this wire back up to see where it needs connecting. Here are some pictures. Let me know what you guys think....

Zap50, I saw the connection harness you found, but didn't want to pull out more trim, maybe yours is the correct one. IDK, But when I pulled my grey mat off, there is no connection there like you found. Can you do a voltage check on this harness with the car in ACC and in reverse? See if you get power to it when its in reverse and the reverse lights are on. I did a voltage check on mine when in ACC and in reverse (reverse lights on) and I was getting nothing this harness. But I personally do think this is the right one, we just need to see where it goes and how it connects upstream. But maybe yours is correct, just do a voltage test on it and post results. Im getting nothing,.

Scratching my head.
My plan (well my friend who is doing the install) is to splice into the grey plug and run the wires back. We were going to do it after work tonight but something came up. Looking towards next week now since he is out of town this weekend. I just got back from being out of town Tuesday.
Since this is a favor type deal I'm not bugging him to do it OMGRIGHTNOW, but I promise I'll post any photos and a quick write up when it gets done.

A friend of mine does aftermarket or dealer optioned installs on new cars and has done some remote start and stereo installs on various cars I've had in the past. A month or so ago he added an iPod aux in cable to the new head unit and looked at the camera pin out but we ran out of time.
I went over yesterday after work and through trial and error he figured out the grey plug pins, since they aren't listed yet on any of the websites his company has access to.
On 8 pin grey plug...
Pin 1 is power output
Pin 2 reverse sensor wire
Pin 3 is video signal ground (negative)
Pin 4 - n/a
pin 5 is ground
Pin 6 - n/a
Pin 7 below is video signal (positive)
He spliced into the wires, and we got a camera to work. It does have a reverse sensor wired in from the factory. Unfortunately the cameras he had in stock in his work vehicle were the wrong kind (wrong mounting type) and they also had built in lines. The OEM touch screen head unit has built in lines, so with what he had it showed as double lines.
He ordered me a camera with the proper mounting bracket without lines and we are going to try to install it next week sometime. We'll have to run cabling from the trunk to the head unit, and just splice into the existing wires and/or add pins to the blanks in the plug.
So the take away is the 2014 Touch screen (non nav) uses the 8 pin grey plug, it is wired for reverse sensor. We didn't trace down where the other end of the harness is, could be in trunk somewhere. The plan is to splice into the existing wires and put in to pins where there are none in the plug, and wire in the camera. You dont have to access any hidden menus or activate anything in the head unit itself. Once the camrea is hooked up you can adjust the image under color settings, ignition on and put into reverse will activate the camera, everything as it should be from the factory. I'm by no means an electronics wizard but I can ask him if you guys have any questions. I'll take photos and do a better write up when the camera is installed.

Follow the above for the pin out
We used a EchoMaster VM-150. This was just something he could get from work for a reasonable price.
Loosely Ran, I tucked it after testing.

Hole in trunk.

Mounted Camera

Pins added to Grey Plug and heat shrunk splice to camera wires

Test

Poor quality iPhone video
Dash warning lights due to no TPS in the aftermarket wheels.
