I turned WiFi off as mine kept asking me to connect to a hotspot when it passed one. I'll turn it back on when I need to use it.

BTW when it does pop up it even over rules the reverse camera feed, which is annoying when I get home as it detects the home wifi.

Ok. Got mine installed today. It seems to be working good so far. I still need to get a backup camera and connect that.
Also, how do you guys wire the reverse cam. Through where do you get tha wire from the cam to the head unit?
Is there a way that I can mirror my note 5 to the unit? And also control the phone from the unit ?

Looks good!

Reverse camera wiring was pretty easy in the end. I had a pro help me but before I got there I ripped out some of the interior plastics. Basically the best way to run the wire is along the lower plastics inside the car.

First go to the boot (yes we say boot so don't look at your feet) and find where the number plate lights go from the car to the bumper. Shout be on the left side. Remove your spare tire cover, then the plastic around the latch, should be some plastic screws down low. Then there are some more screws holding in the boot lining in place. Pull back the left side and under the tail lights there should be a bunch of wires. This is where they'll run the cable to the number plate where most after market cameras are located. Disregard all this if you have a camera in the boot lid, but I assume you don't.

Next inside the car you'll need to remove the plastic lining kick plates or what ever they are called. Now to make it easier to run I also removed my rear seat, and the left shoulder pad to run the wire into the boot.

Look this might sound harder than it ends up being, just spend some time if you've not done this before. It was a nice learning exercise for me even with a pro doing the actual wiring to make sure things worked.

BTW The reverse camera switches automatically on when you but the car in reverse, you tap into the reveres light in the boot. The wiring kit comes with a single RCA lead usually with a read wire coming off each end, in the boot this goes to the reverse light, in the dash is wires to the reverse wire that came with the head unit.

Also you may want to run a wire to the hand brake so the video doesn't play when moving, your call on that one.

Cell Phone - you should be able to pair the phone, I did it with my iPhone and even was able to dial a call from my address book kept on the iPhone. Just remember to hook up the external mic, eve though it has one built in.

Anyone else has issues with the actual navigation app on this unit? On mine it freezes at the slightest stress on the cpu/ram...
I had it started the other day to actually take me to an address and as soon as i opted to go make a turn on a street that was not planned in my gps route, it froze.
I messed with it a bit more but it freezes constantly for no justifiable reason.
Also I tried plugging me 500gb toshiba hard drive and it didn't see it.

I've just got a 32Gb thumb drive for my music and movies. Not got Spotify or what ever its called. I have noticed that while my iPhone is perfectly find to make calls via BT and as a base station for the WiFi when I plug it in to the USB it will only charge the phone it won't access the music or other media. Again not a big issue for me, I'd rather play music from the USB thumb drive. Not tried hooking up a laptop HDD yet but I did try 64Gb and 128Gb SD cards (using a USB converter) with out luck.

GPS - been okay on mine, not as good as my stand alone Garmin but I'm getting used to how it works and the settings. Funny thing it before I'd have the GPS on all the time, even if I didn't need it. Now I'm switching from GPS to music or ODB2 depending on what I want, only used the GPS when needed to find some place. Still I really wish Garmin made a Android app like they have for my iPhone so I can load that onto this new HU.

Ok that's What I was hoping for. I don't want to commit to it if it can't multitask. Is the GPS slow to load? Also does it have the Google play store on the radio?

Yeah you can have music playing and use the GPS or OBD2 with no issues. Even with the reverse camera on, when set up right the music still plays but at a reduced volume which you can set.

Only issue I have with the GPS is the dip in volume from the music when a audio direction comes up.

I need help setting up the OBD2 display to what I want. Oh and yes you need to pay about $5 to get the Torque app from the Google Play store, shame it's not included. The lite free version is useless.

Nice setup you've got there. Remember that Torque only goes up to a maximum of 22.5 lbs of boost.. which obviously won't work for our cars.
You'll need to read the correct UID in Mode32 to read the correct boost. There's a MUTIIIv2 plugin for Torque Pro that fixes this.

Is there a better external mic for this. I seem to have sound issue from the other end of the line. Friend says that it sounds clear just low. Or maybe like talking from a distance.

Mine is ok other than gps app. It's also stuck on Chinese and has no other voice language. I also noticed that when playing music of my phone, through bt I have to keep my phone very close to the unit. Like under the unit or on top. If i put it on the passenger seat or in my pocket it will constantly break up.
