Thanks so much for the fast reply! I'm really interested in this product now and I think your price is great. If I do go through the process of removing the Cobb map before I get the car serviced, and there is a new flash for my car which is applied at the dealer, will this new reflash be transferred to the AP or will it only go back to the stock map that was transferred when I married the unit to my vehicle? Can I even have both my original stock ecu settings and my new dealer reflash stored on the unit? It seems like the product is versatile enough to be able to do this, but I just wanted to confirm.

The Accessport will only save the map that is currently on the vehicle when you are installing it. So when you uninstall it the device turns the ecu back to how it found it. There is no way it can store more then one OE map sorry.

I am offering a customized Iveytune map for free and overnight shipping free on these as promotional price with sale of unit for $695

I will load the maps on the units for you before I ship

I have good maps for most Staged setups.

Question

Att: Al @ Dynoflash: Al: As soon as you can post some real deal dyno results of the new AP,please post them. I was hoping to see you do 3 base runs on your dyno, than reflash with the "Off The Shelf" maps to see WHP/WTQ gains.
I am very familar w/the AP (have # 21 for 04 STi) still,I know Cobb is in SLC,Utah and cannot make as much power of us almost sea-level guys here on the east coast.
Their HP/TQ graph could be alittle more accurate, Are there both Stg-1 & Stg-2 maps in it?

Also : I do plan on getting one,and at some point will be down to see you for a custom map with my combo (intake/hard pipes. . CB or TB exhaust). Only a 2-2 1/2 hr ride from UpState,NY.

I didn't flash it yet. Will tomorrow. I had to update the AP off the box and add the maps also.

Also when you use the program to add the maps, just drag each map to the AP graphics on the left side.

That's technically true, but not answering his question correctly.

When you install the AccessPort map on the car it "marries" itself to that particular car and stores a copy of the current ECU code. When you uninstall it, it "divorces" itself from the car and puts it back to the code that it stored when you married it to the car. Thus, if you divorce it from the car, take the car to the dealer and they re-flash it, when you then re-install the AP map on the car it will marry itself to the car again, copying the new dealer flash which is currently in the ECU. If you then divorce it from the car at a later date the ECU will be returned to the way that it was the last time that it was married - in this case with the factory re-flash. That's what I understood Withnail75 to be asking.
