Verkion is testing some parameters for me .. since I don't have USDM to test with ..

So the uncapped boost maps that Gunzo posted on the Evo X forum did not work out?

Keep us posted and thanks for testing.

Why would Mitsu cap the boost on a 3 bar map sensor

i still have not managed to get mine to log past 159% load, i have looked through everything and even reinstalled the latest version of pcmscan, but like i said i was using elm and i am not sure if that restricts it, next time i get a chance i will try with op2 rather than elm protocol

its not the PCMScan .. its your ecu ..

find a FQ360 and you should be able to log beyond 159% ..

I don't think there is a low and mid, it's just STFT or LTFT.

I realised that the PCMSCan does not validate all available PIDs even on slow or fast scan. Is there a complete listing somewhere that we can download and input the PID manually?

If we cannot log past 159.9, how do we know which cells to edit?

Is this a difference between USDM and non-USDM Evo 10's? I can log uncapped load just fine. Which load PID are you logging?

JDM is not capped, I really don't know why some have these issues.

Could anyone clue me in on how absolute load percentage converts into actual boost? I am using PCMscan to log. My peak boost appears to be around 195%. Also, how can you view log graphs from different logs side by side to compare. Yes, I am a Newbie. Any help would be great.

LOAD_ABS = [air mass (g)/intake stroke] / [maximum air mass (g)/intake stroke at WOT@STP at 100% volumetric efficiency]* 100%.

Why you need to convert to actual boost when you can read it off the ecu... ??
