It might not be to redline lol, but it's definitely flatter than either the stock setup or the boost pill removed cobb setup.

I do have supporting mods though (FMIC, piping, exhaust, etc.).

Well then it's not "holding all the way across" then.

Still wouldn't mind see a log/graph.

Would be nice to see, anything better than the stock bs and boost pill would be interesting to compare.

If I'm planing to get the HKS EVC 6, I won't be needing the upgraded solenoid as I'll be using the HKS solenoid and my stock solenoid will be blocked correct?

isn't the hks evc6 like 600 dollars? i promise it wont hold boost any better then the 3 port (reason being is the hks is also using a 3 port to control boost... you're just buying a very expensive controller). but if your going to go with it regardless, all you need to do is take out all the stock lines and plug the port where it goes into the intake. use the nipple off the turbo for boost source for the EVC6.

Question

I have the Works tune with upgrade hose already.

Do you guys think that getting a Perrin 3 - Port Boost Control Solenoid will help control boost better or it is not neccessary since i have the upgrade pill/hose already.

I have FP red with mx1 cams (supporting fuel system, 800cc injectors, ic tbe, aem meth kit...)

I am planning to re-tune and run around 27-29 psi.

thanks guys

For anyone interested in using a GM or other 3 port unit and want to make it PNP you can buy/hack a connector off of most older mitsubishi cars.

More info here:
http://evoecu.logic.net/wiki/3_Port_...you_will_need: (see note 1 under the table for info and links)

(You may just have to file down the tab in the new connector as stated elsewhere)

Thats correct. I made my PnP harness from an injector harness conversion setup. I have a few plugs leftover if someone needs them.

Oh, and my 3-port peaks boost at 25psi and holds to 23+ by redline. Night and day difference over bleed setup. No pills, etc.

I just ordered the Perrin 3-port, it was on sale for like 85 bucks or something...

I will have a new dyno in a few weeks with 1000cc, 3 port, possibly cams (still debating) and stock turbo maxed the F out...oh and some corn fed power
