Make a bracket. That's what I am doing.

I guess i should really just get over it... I zip tie everything, I guess I should just get it together and try and make one.

Just make a templete out of cardboard, then trace it to some 1/8" steel or alum plate, cut out with a cutting tool, and drill holes, and file the rough edges. I hate having something not secure.

Ok this may sound stupid, but where do i but the steel or aluminum? can I use a dremel to cut it? I may not have the tools needed.

one thing to note, if you bolt it to the chassis, it can become very audible. it will sound like a rapid fire ticking sound when you reach full boost. it comes from the valve opening and closing. if you put a peice of rubber between the valve and the mount it greatly reduces this noise. ziptieing the thing down will not transfer the noise.

Kevin,

I am going to mount your 3 port. I was going to use the ECU mount that is there and just drill two holes and make a mount, looks like a good place for it. Instead of making another bracket for it. Just put a piece of flat foam/rubber to insulate the vibrations.

Does it matter if it is mount upright, or upside down?

Some interesting things.

http://www.evodynamics.com/3portpn.html

Found this interesting, lots of info on 3 port valves.
http://evoecu.logic.net/wiki/3_Port_Boost_Control

The EVOdynamics valve is a MAC valve that has been modified, same valve is used by AEM. The evoDynamics has a resistor build into the harness.

Similar to evoDyamics valve, just different accessories.

It's also a 36 version valve.

In case anyone is wondering.

i received my perrin ebcs today. im confused... perrin's one you can set it up for a "fast response" and "slow response". also i was told by perrin not to recirculate the 3rd port (either port 1 or 3, depending if i want fast or slow response) back into the intake.... ugh this is confusing the crap out of me now...

I got my perrin one last week, I am waiting for injectors, cams and UICP to put it in plus some corn power

Anyway...I read through their setup and I was planning on setting it up for fast response. Just put it in like perrin says and I think you will be fine.

Anyone know of a good place to get the GM 3-port w/harness? Or a place that sells both?

Oh, and my 3-port peaks boost at 25psi and holds to 23+ by redline. Night and day difference over bleed setup. No pills, etc.

Which wastegate actuator are you running?
