Turn off P0140???

Like the title says, is there a way (finally) to turn off DTC P0140 via ECUFLASH??? Haven't really seen or herd of a 100% fix? Anyone know if its even been worked on (lately), or am I kinda of alone on having this as a daily issue of having to clear it? Its starting to get really annoying (personally). I know that supposedly AP users have the ability to turn off rear o2 sensor, so there has to be a way for us ECUFLASH users.

Tephra, I know you were working on this awhile back, but found that the fix is hit or miss. Any chance you've worked this out yet? I'm so down to donate just to have this fixed worked out for us ECUFLASH users!

yeah the fix works for Non-USDM cars

for the fix to work on a USDM car you have to also have a wideband wired into the rear02 signal wire...

i havn't really been bothered to find out the full solution

Would love for there to be a full solution. I know I'm not alone when it comes to this issue. What would it take to entice you to find a solution for us USDM guys (in my case 08 X MR rom)?

I've been CEL free for a while now. Just run the wideband through it, it's worth the effort. Plus, it's super easy to log.

So I just swap the front o2 with the rear o2 and turn off front o2? Im a bit unclear and would love a bit more clarification on exactly what needs to be done (or point me to a thread) to achieve this mechanical fix? I'd appreciate it, as it is annoying as hell!

Thanks for the link to the how to. Looks like a fun project. Really wish there was just a way to turn it of via the DTC, but guess it doesn't seem to be a priority @ this point so I will have to do this. F'n sick of getting p0140 every 40-50 miles worth of driving.

For what its worth, on my VIII, we made a custom cat delete pipe, with the premise of removing the o2 sensor out of the exhaust stream. It never threw a code on my car but I don't use it anymore since I have Autronic and new DP that has delete built in.

Looks like this horrible picture taken with phone

Yeah, that will work or you can use an ebay fix (which is the same as the spark plug anti-fouler).

If you are getting the code for the heater you can disable bit 1 of periphery 2.
