yeah I did... I actually let it coast for over 5 seconds, but I was pushing the button and holding it in instead of just pushing it for a second or 2. I'll have to try that next... I just would like to know what i'm doing to throw it out of calibration... perhaps it's what tephra said and that I need to get all of the software stuff straight with it, i'm trying to wait patiently for the serial to usb cable to come in so I can actually see what it's doing.

I think it throws it out of calibration when you plug / unplug it while it is powered on.

yeah, but the thing is, I don't have it plugged into anything... it was reading fine, 16's and 17 range and then I turn the car off sometimes and it's out of calibration... hopefully the software will do something to stabilize it... in the meantime I will check on all the connections and the sensor itself to make sure it's in there tight enough.

doing a re-cal typically resets the fuel type for AFR determination to a random number.

after you re-cal properly, go in to LMprogrammer and make sure it is set for 14.7(Gas) and not something custom.

^ yup.

if your finding its resteting itself randomly (and you are totally not connecting the little serial plug) then you need to dbl check your power supply

yep, got it set today, turned the car off, when I got back in it read nothing but 9's... I don't get it, but i'm not happy with the product AT ALL. Hopefully it's something i'm not doing correctly.

use LMProgrammer, if your gas type goes to Custom then you know it's loosing its calibration.

Yeah, I think he meant for power he is tapping that fuse. It's a bit hard to tap a fuse and get a ground.
