Long story short I keep getting this every time I try to begin :

- Error: OpenPort2 USB Cable Not Responding. Unplug your USB cable from the PC and replug this in and retry.

I do exactly what it says, and unplug the tactrix cable from my PC and reconnect it, yet with no success. I checked my driver settings for my tactrix cable when its plugged in via USB and it recognizes it just fine. Also I am able to pull my map, clear DTC's, write to ECU with ECUFlash which is why it is baffling me so much. I have read/searched around and noticed evo 8, 9 guys had issues similar to this but it was nothing more then they needed to switch from 2.0 to 1.3. I however should be using 2.0 and am still having issues.

Anyone? Please, I really need to do some data logging so i can make adjustments to my WGDC due to overboosting issues.

Just a side note, I'm using Windows Vista Home x64bit and my computer is up to date in terms of windows update related updates (.net framework updates as well).

 

as much as I hate to say it... you probably wanna downgrade to xp 32bit.
i have a netbook for loggin personally

or you can try compatability mode, uac turned off, and sett the setting to like windows xp sp2

 

I was able to get it to run in compatability mode as well as running it as admin. Thanks for the advice!
