My car died while idling.. ????
I installed the ETS intake on my EVO X and I didn't put a tune on it, because I read threads saying it was okay to do so. I just sat in my car for 10 mins and died on me 3 times.. Do you think it's because I need a tune?
Same exact thing happened to me except I was driving while it stalled. I am on the stage 1 cobb tune... I am honestly not sure what caused it but it didn't happen again after the first time...

I know this is an old post but perhaps others can benefit from my experience.
If you change back to the stock map and the problem goes away, it's the map. If it's still stalls like the problem I had, it was a vacuum hose on the bottom left of the top of the engine about 7 o'clock position if you were standing in front of your car looking at the engine. Don't know why that stock vacuum hose was keep coming off for me so I bought another length of vacuum hose to replace it and it hasn't come off since.
