I have nothing but the best to say about Perrin Performance's HFC
I dd/raced mine for over 36xxx miles w/ no CEL at all. Plus the thing weighs next to nothing compared to the stocker, and you can see right through the catalyic plates - how's that for high flow?
props to Perrin for such an awesome product!

Jeff, when you say, " We have some tests done with 1 or 2 cats and even no cats on 400WHP Subys and they really don't do anything." What do you mean by "anything"? No change in whp or no change in emmisions? With respect to the latter, they obviously are doing something since you say a car that is "catless" "stinks".

Havent gotten my car tuned yet, but the Defowler/Extender what ever you want to call it got rid of the Cell issue on my car. Driven a whole tank of gas out of it now with no issue. All types of driving.

I'm currently shopping a hfc....I found the AMS...the UR...but many people seems to give great comment about the Perrin and HKS....BUT....
I can't find them alone....they always come with the downpipe...and I don't want the DP.
And...anyone have comments about the TurboXS and T1R high flow cat?!?!?!?!

Are any of you running one without a CEL? I dont want to pay the extra cost for a HFC and then get the same CEL's i would get from a test pipe. I want to be able to throw in a 3" HFC and never worry about it again.
Anyone having any success with a good reasonably priced HFC?

Sorry for only reading the first page, hope i didnt miss anything significant to your first post.
I have used both the test pipe and hi flow cat from ETS, no SES/CEL light. I would recommend the ETS HFC.

ultimate racing
I've been running the ultimate racing test pipe for 60k and haven't thrown and CEL once. I am thinking of switching to the UR high flow cat because i am tired of the extra noise and the smell. Gets old after awhile for a daily driver. I put up with it for 60k. Will i need a reflash to change back to HFC? Anyone?

We have a catted option w/o extended o2 sensor. The J-bung style o2 sensor pulls the sensor out of stream which gives it a different reading than the primary sensor preventing it from throwing check engine lights.
