Just a little heads up. I just got off the phone with AMS. They will not sell you the shield separately from there intake kit.

What year GSR is this? i want this intake but as i see here your BOV is in the front and mine is in the rear.... i have an 08.. Did you move it to the front during the install? if so did you have to do anything special for that/replace anything or does the intake set you up for that type of install with the parts it comes with?

All the X's BOV comes in the back from the factory. The AMS intake relocates it to the front of the engine bay. Everything that would be required would come with the AMS intake.

Do you have to get your car tuned for it, if it is like AMS intake the MAF is 3inches. Or is it just the 2010+ evo,s that needs a tune. I will probly get a COBB ap and use the AMS maps and see what happens.

Save your self some money and look at this https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...-thread-4.html

If your just wanting to dress up your engine bay then a intake is a good waist of money but unless you are running a bigger then stock turbo it will have very little power gains over a panel filter in stock box after it's tuned.

Just trying to save you some money.
