To test pipe or not to test pipe?

get a test pipe and when its time for smog, put the stock cat back on.

do not gut your stock cat. the stock cat is very expensive from dealership.

I believe it, we had a customer @ AWD Motorsports pick up a ton of power with just a test pipe upgrade and a tune.

I have intake single 3" exhaust and a 3" testpipe, and my car isnt really all that loud... It does pop and shoot fire though =)

I say test pipe,depends on the exhaust you have it shouldn't be too loud

I lasted two weeks on a test pipe and just switched to the MILSPEC 100 cell cat pipe. My commute includes stop and go driving and I couldn't stomach the stench at the traffic lights. The noise difference is negligible and the power difference is slight.
