I would be curious about labor costs on this upgrade when my clutch has to be done. Has anyone bought the pins and had the work done locally? Just looking for a ballpark...
I broke mine, lets just say its so expensive the dealer hates me because there was issues with my warranty being voided after they re-approved me for warranty work lol

A little update. My EVOX is apart right now, we are building the engine/head/trans/changing gears/building our GT35r kit etc. Tons of work going on.

My car has about 4,000 miles on it, the diff was worn out and the pins in it were in poor shape. We will have to use our oversized pin and have the diff honed, this is with only 4,000 miles on the car.

What is the production date on your car I am just wondering if this has something to do with models built in 2007 or in early 2008 as well. Any pictures of the damaged pins?

In Mitsubishi's defense, Buschur's car has most likely seen a lot of hard launches

But yeah, will definitely be getting this done as well.

Are the diff pins what's in question here?

Are they easy to replace when doing the clutch?

Might as do them when the clutch is out and tranny is out. It is just easier that way.

subscribed, looking to see more info on the improvements. If pins were failing, and we put in stronger pins, will this effect the parts the pins are attached to? Will this then cause other parts to fail?

The pin appears to be the problem at this time. You can only fix one part at a time and this is the first weak link.
